Skye's VBT Surgery @ Simmerath, Germany - March 12th 2018

Her story prior to surgery is here.

ASC Surgery - 12 week Post Op

The past six weeks have flown by. Well, to be honest the past 12 weeks have rocketed by.

Skye is doing really well, is in zero pain, her scars are healing beautifully and her X-ray looked even better than at 6 weeks (to me anyway). I've sent the CD of X-rays off to Dr T so we should hear back in a few weeks as to what his opinion is in relation to her curvature.

She went back to netball and played a few games with no incidents. Once we get the OK from Dr T then she'll head back to soccer, hopefully in the next week or so.

The other question I have is whether she'll be able to scuba dive at the end of July as we're off on our hols :-)

Her fitness is coming along and she no longer is out of breath from just day to day living, and she is a lot less tired than previous weeks.

So, all in all, we couldn't ask for anything better. Zero pain, great X-ray (down from 100 degrees) and back to normal living.
