ASC Surgery - Day 8
Well, as we get ready to be discharged today, the snow is falling heavily outside, and all is quiet and peaceful - a real wonderland.
Our surgical team came to say goodbye to us this morning. Dr Trobisch (on the left hand side) is such an unassuming, gentle and talented gentleman, I will be forever grateful to what he has achieved for Skye.
His extended team from the aiding surgeons who assisted with her surgery, to the doctors and aftercare, this really has been an experience to see how healthcare can and should be done in my opinion - we couldn't have asked for anything better anywhere in the world. Awesome facilities, awesome medical practice, genuine love, care & attention, this experience has been truly one that I will remember for the rest of my life - for lots of differing reasons :-).
To the amazing team here in Simmerath; thank you from the bottom of my heart, you guys have been utterly brilliant and thank you Simmerath.
