OHBS Surgery - Day 7 (Sun)

Looks like we're leaving later today :-).

We'll be going to Ronald MacDonald House on the hospital grounds, and then once we have medical approval to fly then we will hopefully leave Auckland tomorrow to come home.

Skye's lung has re-inflated enough through the physiotherapy exercises to hopefully get medical approval.

It'll be sad to leave Nika (our roomie) and her Mum, who came in last week, hopefully their stay will be less than the anticipated three months.

This experience has completely opened our eyes to the love, care, sorrow and heartache that goes on whilst we normally go through our day to day routines. There are Mum's who have been living on the ward for months, sleeping on a mattress on the floor whilst their baby fights each day.
