Lottery Win !

We came home from seeing Dr Philip Insull on Wednesday this week, and I wrote an email to John Ferguson, wanting to be open & honest about meeting Philip, and explaining why we had gone to see him.

His reply "Excellent news" gave me great relief and joy that he was all for us going to meet others, and forming our opinions from multiple sources. What a gracious and humble man.

At the bottom of his email, had the words:

We have a potential date of 5 July, would this work for you?

My initial response was of disbelief - What - oh my gosh, oh my gosh - yes, of course - absolutely perfect for us - thank you - thank you - thank you. Whilst jumping around the room not knowing at all what to do or what to say - but ecstatic that it has happened.

Yesterday, we received an email from Starship Hospital with our admissions letter for Tuesday 4th July, with the operation scheduled for Wednesday 5th July - we're overjoyed.

Thank you. You did care.
