ASC Surgery - Day 7

We had a visit this morning from Dr Trobisch. Basically if she can walk the stairs today then we can be discharged tomorrow. OMG - this is a tad scary, but fantastic at the same time as he believes that she is well enough to be relieved from hospital.

So, my darling daughter, decided that today was the day, she had a shower, freshened up (ummm - that was a good thing :-)), walked two flights down, two flights up and 200m. Now she's exhausted but that also is a good thing. She had some Chicken Schnitzel for lunch and all is good with the world.

Now, trying to work out how we get from here to good ol' blighty. Umm, been here for a bit long me thinks, as my brain isn't working as well as it could be.

But after 8 nights in this lovely safe environment, we are going to venture out in the wide scary world out there :-).
